Nuha Alli
practical experience
Nuha Alli is an Associate in the Competition Law and Antitrust practice area, advising on competition law across South Africa and a broad range of African jurisdictions, including COMESA, EAC, ECOWAS and CEMAC.
She specialises in merger control, including advising on notifiability, preparing merger filings, and coordinating multi-jurisdictional transactions. Nuha regularly assists with complex cross-border filings to national authorities and regional bodies and engages with regulators to secure transaction approvals.
Her experience extends to prohibited practices, including cartel conduct, restrictive vertical practices, and abuse of dominance, where she assists with both contested and uncontested matters. She also provides strategic competition law advice, compliance support, and due diligence on corporate transactions.
Nuha has worked on high-profile transactions across sectors including telecommunications, private equity, logistics, oil and gas, and entertainment. She contributes to competition law publications and regularly engages with students on the practice of competition law.
Nuha is a member of “The Association of Competition Law Practitioners and Golden Key International Honour Society.”
