Ubenita Remmelien

Ubenita Remmelien is a Trainee Associate at ENS in the Public Law practice.
Ubenita focuses on transactions and commercial activities within public and regulated legal frameworks. Her practice includes advising organs of state and state‑owned entities on governance, public‑private partnerships (PPPs), and commercial transactions, with particular emphasis on compliance with the Public Finance Management Act, the Municipal Finance Management Act, the Companies Act, and related regulations.
Ubenita regularly advises state‑owned entities on statutory and regulatory obligations and assists private sector clients operating in regulated industries in their engagements with organs of state.
Her experience includes commercial litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution, having been involved in disputes before the Magistrates’ Courts and High Courts. Her litigation practice spans a range of commercial entities.
In addition, Ubenita is also experienced I in commercial arbitration and litigation where she assisted with large commercial arbitrations and litigation for corporate entities.
