Cyril Effah is an Associate at ENS in Ghana.

Cyril specialises in corporate and commercial law, with expertise in fintech, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, employment, and general commercial matters.

His experience includes advising on company formation and corporate structuring, employment relationships and compliance. He regularly assists clients with incorporations, group reorganisations, corporate governance matters, shareholder arrangements, and the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial agreements. Cyril also advises on employment and labour law matters, including employment contracts, workplace policies, regulatory compliance, employment‑related risk management, and labour aspects of corporate transactions.

In addition, Cyril is also experienced in regulatory advisory, artificial intelligence governance, and data protection, and has advised clients across the fintech, financial services, private equity, capital markets, and general commercial sectors. His work includes legal due diligence, reviewing and negotiating transaction and investment documentation, and supporting domestic and cross‑border transactions, as well as advising fintech and technology‑enabled businesses on regulatory compliance, licensing, digital payments, data protection, and AI governance.

He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
