Alexander Powell

Alexander Powell is an Associate at ENS in the Technology Media and Telecommunications practice, specialising in artificial intelligence, information technology, material outsource transactions, telecommunications, and data protection, and cybersecurity. He has acted for clients in a variety of sectors and industries, including telecommunications, financial services, software development, media, non-profit and public benefit companies.
Alexander has extensive experience in negotiating complex IT outsourcing transactions, including large-scale, business-critical technology arrangements. He also plays a key role in guiding clients through their artificial intelligence journeys, providing strategic advice on the responsible procurement, development and deployment of AI systems. His work spans AI governance frameworks, ethical and responsible implementation, regulatory compliance, risk management, and alignment with international best practice.
