Ammaarah Roshan

Ammaarah Roshan is an Associate at ENS in the Banking and Finance practice.
Ammaarah focuses on transactional work across a range of complex financing structures.
Her expertise includes securitised debt arrangements such as acquisition finance, mezzanine finance, structured finance, private credit, syndicated lending, and preference share funding, acting for both lenders and borrowers.
She also advises on financial services regulation, including compliance with the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, the Financial Sector Regulation Act, and the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, as well as cryptocurrency regulation within the South African legal framework.
Ammaarah’s experience spans drafting and negotiating loan and preference share agreements, related security documents, and managing conditions precedent through to transaction closing. She has also advised listed companies on corporate restructures from a finance perspective.
