Jacqui Driver
practical experience
Jacqui Driver is a Senior Associate at ENS in the Employment practice.
Jacqui has acted for clients in the logistics, mining, energy, telecommunications, construction and banking sectors. Jacqui has advised clients in both contentious and non-contentious employment law related matters including those relating to unfair discrimination, unfair dismissal disputes relating to misconduct and incapacity, unfair labour practice disputes, retrenchments, section 197 transfers and restraints of trade.
In light of Jacqui’s experience as an advocate at the Johannesburg Bar for 5 years, she has experience in chairing disciplinary hearings, grievance hearings and poor performance hearings. She has appeared on behalf of clients both as an advocate and an attorney at the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, Labour Court and Labour Appeal Court.
Jacqui also provides clients with day-to-day employment law advice and assistance, including training in house counsel on all aspects of employment law, drafting contracts of employment, independent contractor agreements, company policies and procedures as well as separation agreements.
Jacqui provides clients with immigration-related advice for foreign nationals wish to work in South Africa, including visa applications, visa renewals as well as appeals and reviews.
She is a member of the Legal Practice Council.
