Craig Shapiro
practical experience
Craig Shapiro is an Executive at ENS in the Intellectual Property practice.
He is a qualified trade mark practitioner and a Fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law. His areas of speciality include IP commercialisation, including providing strategic advice regarding IP related transactions, drafting and negotiating contracts, conducting IP Due Diligence investigations as well as the management, acquisition and enforcement of intellectual property.
Craig has extensive and a broad range of experience in IP, both locally and internationally. He has worked with the top intellectual property and corporate law firms in South Africa as well as holding the position of General Counsel at a public company listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Craig has developed a unique skill set, being an intellectual property lawyer with corporate and commercial experience. Craig has worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from small to medium businesses as well as world renowned multinational corporations.
