Trishmika Ghazi
practical experience
Trishmika Ghazi is an Associate at ENS in the Shipping, Ports and Logistics practice.
Trishmika specialises in a broad range of shipping and admiralty law matters including High Court litigation and has worked closely on various matters involving processing and defending maritime claims, security and in rem arrests and releases, charter party disputes, casualty investigations and taking crew statements.
Her experience includes advising on general logistics disputes and has assisted in matters on behalf of vessel owners and operators as well as various trade associations that represent their interests and their insurers (including P&I Clubs and hull underwriters).
In addition, Trishmika is also experienced in debt collection for various Shipping lines and has assisted with preparation of letter of demands, tracing of debtors and institution of legal proceedings in court for recovery.
Trishmika is a member of the Marime Law Association of South Africa and has completed the Understanding Shipping course with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. She intends to further her studies with a PQE qualification with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
