Nikhil Bhogal

Nikhil Bhogal is a Senior Associate at ENS in the Corporate Commercial practice.
Nikhil specialises in mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, private equity, corporate reorganisations and restructurings as well as general commercial law.
Nikhil has assisted both private and public clients in various matters as well as both local and offshore clients either looking to invest in the African market.
His experience includes negotiating, advising and structuring a range of commercial transactions, including asset and share acquisition and disposals, share subscriptions, shareholder relationships, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations and employee share incentive schemes. He has also assisted various clients in relation to due diligence investigations, both in respect of vendor due diligence investigations and in respect of purchaser due diligence investigations.
In addition, Nikhil has advised clients in the mining, automotive, aviation, manufacturing and private equity sectors and/or industries.
Nikhil was short listed as a finalist for the African Legal Awards as the most promising newcomer in 2019 and is the co-author of the South African chapter of the Oxford University Press publication “From Baksheesh to Bribery”.
