Mbali Msimang
practical experience
Mbali Msimang is an Associate in ENSafrica's Banking and Finance practice.
Her experience includes advising South African lenders and borrowers, including private, public and state-owned companies with debt raising and preference share funding for their activities on the continent, often through bilateral arrangements.
Mbali also has experience with issuing bonds in the debt capital markets.
Prior to joining the team, Mbali gained some experience in corporate commercial law, assisting both public and private sector clients with advisory opinions and commercial drafting for large local undertakings. Her LLM dissertation focused on South Africa’s revised strategy on the treatment of foreign investors and the new approach to the settlement of international commercial disputes outlined in the Protection of Investment Act, 2015.
