Jessica de Kock
practical experience
Jessica de Kock is an Associate at ENS in the Competition / Antitrust practice.
Jessica has been involved in matters (engaging both local and multinational corporations) concerning a variety of industries, including animal health, energy, insurance, retail, shipping and logistics, mining, online education, petroleum and other gaseous products, among others.
Jessica’s experience includes advising clients on notifiability of mergers and preparing merger notifications in various African jurisdictions, assisting clients in dawn raids, and providing advice on prohibited practices (including cartel conduct, restrictive vertical practices and abuse of dominance).
In addition, Jessica has provided advice to clients in respect of general competition law matters (opinions and strategic advice), participated in due diligence investigations, assisted with compliance reporting obligations pursuant to merger conditions, and assisted clients with information requests and queries received from competition regulators in various African jurisdictions.
Jessica has authored various competition law-related articles for Business Law and Tax Review and the European Competition Law Review, and has prepared headnotes for the Butterworths Competition Law Reports.
Jessica is a member of the Association of Competition Law Practitioners.
