Jillian Griffiths

Jillian Griffiths is an Associate at ENSafrica | Mauritius. She is a practising Australian solicitor, non-practising Barrister of England and Wales and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Jillian specialises in commercial dispute resolution and domestic and international arbitration. She has acted for both public and private clients in diverse industries. She has experience in a wide range of practice areas, including breach of contract claims, negligence, construction disputes, insolvency proceedings, competition and consumer law. Jillian regularly drafts legal documents including pleadings, motions and affidavits and conducts extensive legal research.
Jillian also has commercial and employment law experience. She drafts, negotiates and advises on commercial contracts, lease agreements, employment contracts, NDAs and third party agreements. She has a comprehensive understanding of Mauritian employment law, following her extensive involvement in preparing and delivering government-accredited training on the Workers’ Rights Act 2019.
Jillian also has experience in regulatory and compliance matters, ranging from international sanctions regimes to securities listing requirements and food safety conditions. She has had exposure working with a public regulator whilst undertaking a secondment at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
