Varni Veerabudren
practical experience
Varni Veerabudren is an Associate at ENS in Mauritius and is a member of the Banking & Finance practice. She focuses on a range of areas including banking and finance law, ship financing as well as FinTech.
Varni regularly assists on compliance and regulatory advice to banks and financial institutions, both at a domestic and cross-border level. Her experience encompasses drafting an array of documents, including security documents, legal opinions and memoranda on various banking law matters. She has also been involved in a variety of finance transactions, preparing and negotiating securities and supervising the fulfilment of conditions precedent for loan disbursements.
Prior to joining ENSafrica, Varni gained experience working as a legal intern in the Banking and Finance department of an international law firm in Paris with a focus on ship financing, and in several banking institutions both in Mauritius and abroad.
