George Muthee
practical experience
George Muthee is a Partner at ENS in Kenya. He is a tax leader at ENSafrica’s Kenya office with over 12 years’ experience in providing tax advisory services interspersed with a 2 year stint in London, UK.
George’s experience includes advising clients on a wide range of tax aspects such as all tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, due diligences, joint ventures, corporate group reorganizations, business set up advisory, financial model reviews, capital restructuring, contract reviews, international tax matters and also supporting clients in managing tax audits and resolving tax disputes.
George has worked with large and mid-tier private entities funds, venture capital entities, corporates, sovereign wealth funds, Africa-focused infrastructure funds, non-governmental organisations and a host of other clients across a wide range of sectors/industries. He also works with local service providers to provide tax advisory support in the wider East Africa and Horn of Africa regions.
George is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and a Commissioner for Oaths.
