Ariane Nevin is a Senior Associate at ENS in the Dispute Resolution practice.

Ariane specialises in commercial litigation, advising clients in various sectors, such as retail, property, agriculture and financial services in relation to contractual disputes, delictual claims, shareholder disputes, regulatory matters, and litigating in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and occasionally Kenya. She also has experience in public interest litigation and advocacy.

Prior to joining ENS, she managed Sonke’s prisons project for a number of years, managing budgets, obtaining funding, reporting to donors, supervising junior colleagues, and conceptualising and coordinating advocacy strategies, including litigation, media campaigns, lobbying efforts and community engagement. Her work at Sonke Gender Justice was recognised by the Mail & Guardian, which named her one of the top 200 young South Africans in 2018. From July 2018 to June 2019, Ariane clerked for Justice Madlanga and then Acting Justice Dlodlo at the South African Constitutional Court.
