Justine Petersen


practical experience
Justine Peterson is an Associate at ENS in the Mine and Occupational Health and Safety practice.
Justine specialises in Mine Health and Safety and Occupational Health and Safety Law.
Her experience includes advising on drafting appointment letters for various mining companies, drafting collective agreements between mining companies and registered trade unions, drafting health and safety procedures for mining companies and implementing a contractor health and safety system.
In addition, Justine is also experienced in representing and appearing on behalf of prominent gold and platinum mining companies during formal inquiry proceedings and investigations in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act, 29 of 1996 (“MHSA”). She has provided legal advice and opinions to clients on legislative requirements in terms of the MHSA and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 85 of 1993 (“OHSA”).
