Bonolo Mafa is an Associate at ENSafrica's Employment department. 

She specialises in general employment law.

Bonolo has gained experience advising public and private corporations as well as individual clients in various industries including mining, security, telecommunications, construction and manufacturing on a broad range of employment law and litigation related issues.

Her experience includes drafting CCMA and Labour Court pleadings and referrals including applications for legal representation, applications to raise jurisdictional points, answering affidavits to condonation applications and review application, statements of case and response. Bonolo has advised clients on retrenchment processes and conducted research on various aspects of labour law, amendments and implementation of labour legislation. In addition, she has assisted with training seminars to executive-level staff on internal disciplinary hearings, managing poor work performance and developments in labour law legislation.

Bonolo has been involved in a number of litigious matters in the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA), Bargaining Councils and Labour Court and Labour Appeal Courts. In addition, she has also represented clients in the CCMA to argue jurisdiction points and oppose referrals and condonation applications. Bonolo has also initiated disciplinary proceedings related to strike misconduct and has advised clients on strike management
