Fiona Monteiro is a Senior Associate in ENSafrica's Insolvency, Restructuring and Business Rescue practice.
Fiona specialises in liquidations and debt recovery, which includes applying and interpreting the provisions of the National Credit Act, the Companies Act and the Insolvency Act.
Her experience includes assisting liquidators and creditors with regard to the liquidation process, advising and instituting legal proceedings on behalf of creditors for the recovery of debt and advising business rescue practitioners and creditors on various aspects of the business rescue process.
In addition, Fiona is also experienced in the running of court processes and facilitating negotiations and regularly advises clients in the banking and financial services sectors.

- Admitted as an Attorney in the High Court of South Africa
