Curtis Nhliziyo
practical experience
Curtis Nhliziyo is a Senior Associate at ENS in the Employment practice. He has acted for public and private sector clients, in various industries including IT, automobile, engineering, retail, medical, banking and construction industries. He advises on all aspects of individual and collective employment law. His experience includes advising clients on unfair dismissal, restructuring, restraints of trade and organisational rights disputes, employment equity, sexual harassment and other employment law issues. He is also experienced in drafting pleadings for the South African Labour Court; the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration; the High Court and the magistrates’ courts, as well as drafting employment contracts, legal opinions, HR policies and settlement agreements. He appears in the CCMA, numerous bargaining councils dealing with unfair dismissal, unfair labour practices, and discrimination. He also advises clients on collective bargaining issues as well as the management of strikes. His experience further extends to civil litigation, including preparation and assistance in High Court and magistrate’s court litigation. |
