Arshaad Carim
practical experience
Arshaad Carrim is a Senior Associate in ENSafrica’s Real Estate / Property department. His experience includes a vast range of property related transactions, such as property transfers (both commercial and residential), restructuring of property portfolios, commercial property finance, Islamic property finance, subdivisions and consolidations, drafting and reviewing of commercial and residential leases (both for new builds and existing conversions) as well as engagement with various local authorities such as rates disputes. Arshaad’s experience extends to conducting due diligence investigations, drafting and advising on property related agreements including notarial deeds.
Furthermore, Arshaad has advised on infrastructure related transactions within the renewable energy sector (acting both for lenders and sponsors) and has been involved in a number of renewable energy projects. This experience includes offering advice on the viability of agreements, providing solutions to any concerns which may arise, the drafting of notarial deeds of lease, notarial deeds of servitude and notarial deeds of amendment of servitudes and service level agreements.
