Tyron Willey is an associate in ENSafrica’s anti-trust/competition department.
Tyron’s experience includes advising on the notifiability and drafting of statutory merger notifications to the competition authorities in South Africa and various other jurisdictions in sub-Saharan Africa, as well as the regional competitor regulator, the COMESA Competition Commission.
Tyron also has experience as part of the ENSafrica team acting in high-profile complaint referral proceedings before the Competition Tribunal and has a particular interest in abuse of dominance.
Tyron has assisted on matters spanning a wide range of industries including, inter alia, banking, infrastructure, listed property and mining.
He is a contributing editor for the Butterworth’s Competition Law Reports and has written articles on contemporary developments in South African competition law for Business Law and Tax Review.
