Zara Sher is an Executive in ENSafrica’s Dispute Resolution practice and Insurance practice group.
She focuses primarily on insurance and reinsurance related matters, and has a particular interest in insurance claims disputes and complex insurance claims.
Zara has extensive experience and a depth of expertise in dealing with insurance disputes and in analysing insurance programs. She also has experience in dealing with construction disputes as well as general commercial litigation matters.
She has been substantially involved in a large number of complex insurance matters, including in the context of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the July 2021 Riots and Civil Unrest.
Zara has a specific expertise in and an in-depth knowledge of commercial business insurance covers. She is well versed in the various insurance product wordings including, for example, Assets All Risks (Property Damage and Business Interruption), Commercial Crimes, Cyber, Goods-in-Transit, Professional Indemnity, Directors’ & Officers’ Liability, General and Public Liability, Political Violence (including SASRIA), and Construction and Engineering (including construction insurance guarantees).
Zara also presents CPD accredited insurance seminars and lectures.
