Sazi Madlala
practical experience
Sazi Madlala is a Senior Associate at ENS in the Competition / Anti-Trust practice.
He has acted for clients in a variety of industries including aerospace and aviation, private equity, corporate, retail, mining and industrial sector, automobiles and parts, financial services, food producers and oil & gas.
Sazi's practice experience spans from prohibited practices (including cartel conduct and corporate leniency applications), to merger regulation (including transaction structures and compiling merger notifications).
He also has experience in contested and uncontested litigation in the merger and prohibited practices contexts and has experience in assisting clients in performing audits aimed at identifying and proactively addressing areas of concern from a competition law perspective.
He is consistently involved in the managing of large multijurisdictional mergers. Thereby providing clients with a “one stop shop” which seamlessly facilitates the interaction between clients, regulators and recommended local counsel and has a detailed understanding of the merger control landscape in Africa.
Sazi is a member of the Association of Competition Law Practitioners and has authored various competition law-related articles for Business Law and Tax Review and regularly prepares headnotes for the Butterworths Competition Law Reports.
