Warren Hendricks

Warren Hendricks is an Executive at ENS in the Mine and Occupational Health and Safety practice.
He regularly acts on behalf of, and represents, foremost mining and heavy industry corporates at formal inquiry proceedings and investigation proceedings conducted in terms of the South African Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 and Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993.
Warren’s expertise includes preparation for formal inquiry proceedings and investigation proceedings and drafting formal representations to representatives of the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy, and the Department of Labour. He also advises clients and provides legal liability training in respect of their general obligations, compliance and legislative requirements in terms of occupational health and safety law. His expertise extends to the preparation of statutory letters of appointment and health and safety agreements.
Warren has conducted due diligence investigations and legal compliance audits relating to occupational health and safety matters and has advised on litigation relating to delictual damages claimed as result of occupational injuries and occupational diseases.
Warren has presented various papers and seminars on his field of expertise and has authored and co-authored a number of topical occupational health and safety articles in various publications.
