Shariq Gilani is an international associate at ENSafrica in Ghana. He specialises in corporate and commercial, energy, derivatives, commodities and climate change and environmental matters.
Shariq has acted for clients in a variety of industries, including the energy, renewables, commodities trading, banking and FinTech sectors.
His experience includes advising clients on acquisitions and disposals, complex commercial agreements, over-the-counter and exchange-traded derivatives, as well as negotiating industry standard agreements, such as those published by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA).
In addition, Shariq has expertise in drafting and negotiating complex power and gas trading arrangements and advising on the development of liquefied natural gas projects, as well as advising on issues relating to climate change, carbon trading and environmental regulations.
