Robert Gad
practical experience
Robert Gad is an Executive in the Tax practice area, with wide experience in corporate tax, indirect tax, mergers and acquisitions, employment taxation, private client matters, and tax disputes.
He chairs the South African Law Society's Committee on Exchange Control and Tax Matters, highlighting his leadership in the field. As such he comments on and lobbies for tax law changes where appropriate.
Robert leads an integrated Incentives practice area which advises on the legal, tax, and regulatory aspects of employee and management remuneration, benefits, and incentives. He works with leading South African corporations— listed and unlisted, starts ups or long established—to design and implement effective incentive plans that drive desired commercial outcomes.
In addition, Robert provides guidance to foreign firms, advising on incentive plans for multinational clients operating across the African continent.
