Jason Rusch is an Executive at ENSafrica in the Insolvency, Restructuring and Business Rescue practice. He specialises in running insolvency, business rescue and debt recovery matters from inception to conclusion, including any litigation, which arises in respect of such matters.
Jason has acted for a diverse range of corporate clients and has provided legal services to banks and other financial institutions. He also advises individuals, companies and liquidators on steps to be taken against recalcitrant debtors, whether to apply for liquidation or sequestration in particular circumstances and if so, the most appropriate manner of winding up.
Jason’s experience includes dealing with and setting aside dispositions and preferences in an insolvency environment as well as general debt recovery. He also has a thorough knowledge of the Business Rescue Provisions and their implications as set out in the New Companies Act. These Business Rescue Provisions will come into effect when the New Companies Act comes into effect.
