Emmanuel Bizimana
practical experience
Emmanuel Bizimana is a Senior Associate at ENS in Rwanda. He specializes in corporate and commercial dispute resolution matters as well as employment and labour. He is also an insolvency administrator. He has litigated and represented a large number of clients in various areas of law in all levels of Rwandan Judicial Courts structure as well as in arbitration. He has significant experience in arbitration, acting as arbitrator, expert witness in arbitration as well as legal counsel for parties in a number of arbitration proceedings. He is a member of Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA).
Emmanuel’s experience includes advising clients across various industries in connection with relevant litigation and dispute resolution (mediation and arbitration) matters as well as employment and labour. He was successfully awarded the introductory certificate in international arbitration (Associate of Chartered Institute of Arbitration) and he is admitted to the Kigali International Arbitration Centre (KIAC) panel of domestic arbitrators. He is very familiar with judicial laws and Rwandan court systems.
Emmanuel’s experience is not limited to only representing/assisting individuals and or institutions before administrations/courts/arbitration but he has also provided a wide range of consulting legal services in the various areas of law for both businesses and individuals.
Emmanuel is a member of the following Associations:

- Member of International Bar Association
Emmanuel is also a private notary, authorized and empowered by the Ministry of Justice to authenticate and notarize on the territory of the Republic of Rwanda.
He is a native speaker of Kinyarwanda and he is fluent in English, French and has working knowledge of Swahili.
