Edwin Ellis
practical experience
Edwin Ellis is an Executive at ENS in the Employment law practice. He specialises in providing advice to clients on all aspects of employment law with a particular emphasis on organisational restructurings, the employment consequences of commercial transactions, the structuring and enforcement of restraint of trade provisions, and the dismissal of senior executives, both as employees and directors. Further, Edwin has extensively advised on employee aspects of incentive and benefit schemes, including share incentive schemes, bonus schemes and retirement vehicles.
He has acted for a diverse range of local and international clients by assisting them with the development of proactive initiatives and preventative practices and has represented clients at the Council for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration, private arbitrations, the Labour Court, the High Court and the Supreme Court of Appeal, as well as with internal disciplinary proceedings. Edwin has given presentations to the Pension Lawyers Association, at firm client seminars and has run training courses for numerous clients.
