Cheván Daniels

Cheván Daniels is an Executive at ENS in the Corporate Commercial practice.
He specialises in M&A, corporate re-organisations and restructures, advising on regulatory compliance issues pertaining to M&A transactions, corporate finance, financial markets and securities legislation and regulation and general corporate commercial law advice.
Chevan has deep expertise in all aspects of private equity, including legal due diligence in anticipation of acquisitions by PE funds of portfolio companies, portfolio and investment structuring, regulatory approvals, management incentives, recapitalisations following on altered investment horizons or other changed circumstances, disposal of portfolio companies, IPO’s and other exit strategies.
Chevan is also an expert in broad-based black economic empowerment (B-BBEE) advisory, regulatory and compliance, including strategic planning, as well as structuring, implementing and regulating transactions across a wide variety of industries in accordance with the B-BBEE legislation.
Cheván has M&A, B-BBEE and corporate re-organisation expertise in a wide range of industries, including the private equity, property, financial services and industrial and manufacturing sectors, as well as in respect of both publicly listed and private unlisted companies. He also has experience in leading legal due diligence investigations in respect of M&A transactions in a wide range of industries.
