Celia Becker is an Executive at ENSafrica, and an expert in Africa Regulatory and Business Intelligence. She specialises in advising large multi-nationals expanding into Africa on the tax efficient structuring of investments, country risk profiles and tax and regulatory compliance requirements of countries throughout Africa, as well as the in-country application of legislative provisions. She has vast experience in liaising with local counsel in African jurisdictions and ensuring, where required, the management and quality-checking of legal advice, assuring clients of the highest level of service. Celia is a CA (SA). She started her career as an International Tax Advisor at a Big 4 accounting firm and spent six years at a multi-national construction company as Country Risk Director. She is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and is the author of the “Viewpoint Africa” column in Business Day’s Business Law & Tax Review, and is a regular contributor of African jurisdictional content to various other publications.
