Arabella Bennett is an executive consultant in ENSafrica’s banking and finance department.
She specialises in pension law, collective investments, insurance and reinsurance transactions, regulatory work and local and cross-border structured debt and hybrid debt transactions.
She has acted for South African public and private sector pension funds, national and international banks, insurers and re-insurers, corporates and South African and international fund managers.
Arabella’s experience includes advising public sector and private pension funds on a range of cash-flow matching investments, pooled investment structures, liability outsourcings and regulatory matters. She has also structured and implemented securitised debt transactions on behalf of asset managers of retirement funds
who are lending to South African corporates.
She has experience in advising retailers on offerings regulated in the e-banking and insurance sectors, advising on rated, cross border preference share transactions and has advised public sector institutional investors on a range of local and offshore private equity, debenture and linked policy investments. She also has extensive experience in regulatory opinion work pertaining to wide ranging aspects of the financial services sector.
