Désiré Kamanzi

Désiré Kamanzi is the Head of ENS Rwanda and has extensive experience practicing as an advocate in business law, including corporate and commercial law, contract law, banking and financial law, labor law, mining law, telecommunication law, and ADR. He served as the Secretary General of the Rwandan Law Society and was previously the Chief Legal Counsel and Director for Trade & Investment Promotion of the country’s Investment Promotion Authority (now Rwanda Development Board). Prior to that, he was a full time Lecturer at the Faculty of Law (University of Rwanda) and a visiting Lecturer at the Kigali Institute of Science and Technology. Désiré holds an LLM from the School of Graduate & Post-Doctoral Studies of the University of Ottawa (Canada). He is an Advocate before the High Court of Rwanda (Member of the Rwanda Bar Association), an Arbitrator (FCIArb) and Adjudicator with the Kigali International Arbitration Centre (KIAC).
