ENSafrica’s Thierry Koenig nominated to sit on the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies board

We are proud of our Head of ENSafrica in Mauritius, Thierry Koenig, who has been nominated by the Attorney General to sit on the board of the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies (“IJLS”).

The IJLS plays a key role in the professional development of barristers, attorneys and notaries in Mauritius by broadening their knowledge, keeping them abreast of legal developments, enhancing their professional skills and encouraging the exchange of industry experiences. In addition, the IJLS has recently been entrusted the responsibility of AML/CFT training.

This prestigious position will allow Thierry (who is the current President of the Mauritian Law Society and who also sits on the Council for Vocational Education) the opportunity to further promote the legal profession in Mauritius.
