ENSafrica’s dynamic and fast-growing IP team has once again been recognised for excellence
ENSafrica is delighted to announce that our IP team was well recognised in the Legal 500 2020 edition. The team was described as having “outstanding credentials in commercial IP and has made significant progress in Africa-wide engagements”. Further comments included “The team… advises a range of blue-chip corporates, including those in the financial services, media and pharmaceutical sectors.”
In addition, clients praised the team for having “good coverage of trade mark and general IP issues not only for South Africa, but throughout continental Africa as well.”
Head of ENSafrica’s IP department Gaelyn Scott received a leading individual ranking and was described as being “a very experienced trade mark expert who can advise on matters ranging from prosecution and transactional work to more contentious enforcement matters. She is tenacious in her pursuit of a win for clients”.
In addition, the firm’s IP practitioners were also recently recognised in MIP’s IP Stars 2020/21 edition, with Dr Joanne van Harmelen and Rowan Forster being endorsed as Patent Stars, and Gaelyn Scott and Ilse du Plessis being named Trade Mark Stars.
We extend our sincere thanks to our clients who took time to participate in the research processes of these rankings, without whom these results would not be possible.
