South African Occupational Health and Safety Act – Code of Practice for Existing Goods Hoists Installations
On Friday, 3 February 2017, a notice (GNR.94) was published in the Government Gazette No. 40594, in terms of which the Chief Inspector incorporated the Code of Practice for Existing Goods Hoists Installations (the “Code of Practice”) into the Lift, Escalator and Passenger Conveyor Regulations, 2010. The Code of Practice applies to existing goods hoists installations installed prior to 30 September 2015.
