Itayi Gwaunza is a director at ENSafrica in the employment department. He specialises in large employment law matters and is closely involved with advising clients on employment law issues, including appearances for trials, applications and arbitrations at the Labour Court, Labour Appeal Court, CCMA (Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration) and Bargaining Councils.
Itayi has advised clients on labour legislation in several African jurisdictions.
He has written articles on issues such as labour brokers, employment equity, the employment of foreigners, third party service providers, independent contractors and social security, as well as drafting contracts in all of these areas.
Itayi has also presented training seminars on internal disciplinary hearings and managing poor performance, amongst other employment related topics.
