Alexander Kibandama is a partner at ENSafrica in Uganda, in the firm’s energy, infrastructure and construction department. He has extensive experience advising on key mandates in the energy, infrastructure, oil and gas sectors in Uganda, and is widely respected as an authority on public-private partnerships and energy law in Uganda.
Adept at leading clients through the various stages of transactions, Alex has been noted for the pragmatic outlook he brings to bear on sophisticated transactions especially to clients seeking to develop and execute acquisitions and large infrastructure projects in Uganda. Alexander has undertaken legal due diligence and legal audits of a wide range of companies, including telecommunications companies and electricity transmission and distribution companies.
He has been involved in developing the legal regimes for electronic commerce and climate change in Uganda. He is also published in key areas of law.
He is a member of the Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society.
